The Côte de Nuits, birthplace of the great red wines of Burgundy.

The Maison Joseph Drouhin has created a new themed tasting, and offers you a sensory stroll through the Côte de Nuits; the « Champs-Elysées of Burgundy». 

From Dijon to Corgoloin, the Côte de Nuits forms a narrow strip covering only 20 kilometres. From here are born the great red wines of Burgundy. The unique and exceptional terroir of the Côte de Nuits allows the Pinot Noir to express itself like nowhere else, thereby producing some of the most prestigious red wines in the world.

The programme:

-Discovery of the ancient cellars (13th century) of the Maison Joseph Drouhin which cover more than 2 acres beneath the historical centre of Beaune.

- Following the visit you will taste 6 red wines. The tasting is accompanied by the local Burgundy speciality, 'Gougeres' (Small cheese puffs).
