Wine & cheese tasting

Come and join us to participate in this tour that will take you through the cellars of Joseph Drouhin and the Oenothèque where we have around seventy references including old vintages and large formats for sale.

In addition to its benchmark as a wine producer, it is also a real historical journey during the visit through the cellars owned by the Drouhin family.

Indeed, these cellars are part of the oldest of Beaune dating between the 13th and 15th centuries ; this is what makes all the magic of this emblematic location.

The visit will end with a tasting of six wines which will be accompanied by cheeses. The objective is to find if one cheese is better suited to one wine or another to illustrate the perfect harmony between each wine and each cheese.

Programme:

The tour starts at 10.00 am and will depart at the Oenothèque, Place du Général Leclerc in Beaune.

The visit of the cellar lasts about 30 minutes, and then we will continue with the tasting. It will take place in the cellar and will consist of three white wines:

-         Chablis Reserve de Vaudon 2015

-         Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Garenne 2013

-         Puligny-Montrachet Folatières 2006

And three red wines:

-         Volnay 2008

-         Chambolle musigny 1er cru Baudes 2011

-         Nuit saint Georges 1er cru Roncières 1995

Along with :
